FlexiH entry to the Semi-finals at Chain Reaction Innovation (CRI) Cohort 8

On Friday (1/26), FlexiH was selected to move forward in the CRI’s Cohort 8 Semi-Finals Pitch Competition, together with other 28 participants, following a thorough evaluation process by the Chain Reaction Innovations (CRI) team and scientists at Argonne National Laboratory (ANL). FlexiH’s proposed topic, Atmospheric Clean Ammonia Production, focuses on industrial decarbonization by promoting the green agriculture industry through the clean ammonia production process. Ammonia is considered the safest hydrogen carrier, and its presence will tackle main challenges in the hydrogen transportation and storage.

The CRI program is part of the Lab-Embedded Entrepreneurship Program (LEEP) supported by DOE’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy through the Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies Office (AMMTO), DOE’s Office of Science Advanced Scientific Computing Research (ASCR) program, and DOE’s Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management. Every year, more than a hundred startups apply to the program to expedite the development of their products. At the final stage of the selection, 4-6 companies are typically selected to participate.
