[Guthrie, OK] FlexiH is pleased to welcome M. Abid Malik as Chief Financial Officer. With more than 25 years of leadership experience spanning finance, fundraising, R&D, sales, marketing, and business development, Abid brings a strong record of scaling technology ventures from early-stage growth to successful high-value exits.
Abid began his career in Silicon Valley, where he founded and led multiple technology companies, including two startups that achieved 50–100× exits. In 1995, he co-founded Nexlogic—a California-based provider of PCB prototype design, fabrication, and testing—where he served as CFO and board member for ten years. Under his financial and operational leadership, Nexlogic grew to 72 employees, generated more than $17 million in annual revenue, and was ultimately acquired in 2022 by Naprotek, a portfolio company of Edgewater Capital Partners.
Abid is also the founder of Indus Venture Group, where he mentors startups in investment readiness, business model development, M&A preparedness, and go-to-market strategy. Since 1990, the companies he has founded or managed have generated over $500 million in cumulative revenue. His recent work focuses on integrating advanced AI platforms—ChatGPT, Genemni, and DeepSeek—into e-commerce, due diligence processes, startup analytics, and medical workflow automation.
A long-standing contributor to entrepreneurial ecosystems, Abid has mentored or trained over 800 startups and more than 5,000 students across 20+ universities. He has served on the international board of the Minaret Business Organization and is an independent trustee (emeritus) of Amana Mutual Funds, a socially responsible fund managing more than $4.5 billion in assets. He also sits on the board of the Strategic Research Circle, a U.S.-based nonprofit focused on private enterprise, civil justice, and social responsibility.
In addition to his industry leadership, Abid is an author of two books—on wealth distribution and gender equality—and recently completed “Fractured Economy of Pakistan,” a nine-month multidisciplinary study involving academics, business leaders, and former policymakers.
Abid holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from California State University, Sacramento.
With his deep experience in financial strategy, operational scaling, and technology commercialization, Abid will play a pivotal role in supporting FlexiH’s mission to build and deploy its next-generation e-refinery platform worldwide.
