[Guthrie, OK] FlexiH announced today that it has received a formal letter of support from the Association of Central Oklahoma Governments (ACOG) and its Central Oklahoma Clean Cities Coalition, for the company’s planned E-Refinery project in Guthrie, Oklahoma. This support marks a pivotal milestone in moving the project forward and underscores its alignment with regional sustainability and economic development goals.

The E-Refinery will be the first of its kind in Oklahoma and the nation, designed to produce multiple sustainable fuels—including clean ammonia, hydrogen, dimethyl ether (DME), and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF)—from natural gas and various renewable and waste resources such as free air, steam, biomass, and waste tires, largely under ambient conditions. By eliminating carbon emissions from traditional production methods, the facility will help decarbonize agriculture, transportation, and other hard-to-abate industries.

According to ACOG’s letter, the project’s ability to generate over 800 full-time jobs at full capacity represents a major economic benefit for Guthrie and surrounding communities. The E-Refinery also sets a new benchmark in environmental innovation, with the potential to achieve carbon-negative emissions while building a circular economy that addresses waste challenges.

“We are honored to receive the support of ACOG, which validates the importance of our mission and strengthens our momentum to move into the next stage of development,” said Natarianto Indrawan, Founder and CEO of FlexiH. “This project not only advances the global decarbonization agenda but also creates real economic opportunities for local communities here in Oklahoma.”

ACOG emphasized that FlexiH’s project is in line with the Clean Cities initiative, which seeks to accelerate the adoption of alternative fuels and advanced transportation technologies.

With this endorsement, FlexiH continues to build a strong coalition of local, national, and international partners to realize its ambitious plan. The project will be carried out in three stages: pilot, commercial, and E-Refinery, requiring at least $5 billion in total investment upon completion, and has already received commitments from both private investors and government organizations.
